About this Blog

   What is this place?
Here, "they" in the title What they're not saying refers to the voices that people hear every day - those of celebrities, politicians, and the media. Their views tend to dominate our popular culture and our society in general, which is why we can get tired of listening to them all the time. Sometimes, what's needed is a fresh, different perspective, one that doesn't conform with what they're all saying. With this blog, I hope to provide some true intellectual diversity in casting light on serious challenges that our civilization faces today.

Who am I, and what am I trying to accomplish with this blog?
The amount of bitterness and misery inflicted within the world of politics is enough to keep most people out. In my ongoing search for happiness, I have come to the conclusion that following this lead would be my best course of action. Thus, I do not run this blog out of any desire to affiliate with a political party, establish myself in the online world, politically or personally (which is part of the reason why I'm keeping my identity anonymous), or lead a large-scale campaign in support of any specific issue or viewpoint.
However, I have come to the realization (with the support of those around me) that we face a serious peril. Our values, our freedoms, and our security are all under attack, and if they yield, we could lose everything that our ancestors fought to give us. Though the world appears to be deteriorating, I hope to provide support for our original foundations of freedom, peace, and opportunity. Above all, I want to stand up for what's right.
Despite the pessimistic nature of the world around us, there is significant reason to have hope. As long as there is good in the world, it will emerge victorious, just as it has before. Surely, if those who want to preserve the future for themselves and their descendants act, they will be able to overcome all obstacles and opposition. This fight may take decades, but in the end, the good will prevail. And I want to help in any way possible, which is why I'm here trying to reach out to people like you.
